Our community garden project could not have happened without the help of Amber Greer-Weaver at Keep DeKalb Beautiful and James Burton at DeKalb Sanitation.A "first" for DeKalb was the donation of county composted dirt for use in a community garden project.

Get Dirty on March 31, evening hours, weather permitting
Join us for the first day of tilling on March 31, at the new Midway Woods Garden (click the link for the location).This will be our first membership work day. We will try to break up as much ground as possible. Of course, if it's raining, we postpone until the next day. The window is open through April 4, or until the ground is ready.
If you're new to the project or want to get involved just show up with your work clothes, gloves, a shovel and whatever else you can bring (wheel barrow, stone rake, etc.).
